If you’re planning to vote in the 2026 elections, here are the important dates and deadlines to know.
2026 Election Schedule
State General Election
Tuesday, November 3, 2026
Winnacunnet High School
Polls open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Absentee Voting
If you qualify to vote by absentee ballot, applications must include a copy of a valid photo ID.
Absentee ballot requests may be submitted by mail, email, fax, or in person to the Hampton Town Clerk’s Office.
Request Deadlines
• By mail: 12:00 p.m. the day before the election
• In person: 5:00 p.m. the day before the election
Completed absentee ballots must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. If returning your ballot by mail, the U.S. Postal Service recommends mailing it at least one week before Election Day.
