Town Committees

The three “areas” of Rockingham County Republican Committee are based on the districts established for the county commissioner positions. Here are the Area Chairs leading these communities and how the communities are divided up. This was established after the 2022 redistricting:

Area 1 Chair: Jim Scamman

• Area One Towns: Epping, Exeter, Greenland, Hampton, Hampton Falls, Kensington, New Castle, Newfields, Newington, Newmarket, North Hampton, Portsmouth, Rye, Stratham

Area 2 Chair: Mary Bartel

• Area Two Towns: Atkinson, Newton, Plaistow, Salem, Seabrook, South Hampton, Windham

Area 3 Chair: Jim Michaud

• Area Three Towns: Auburn, Brentwood, Candia, Chester, Danville, Deerfield, East Kingston, Fremont, Hampstead, Kingston, Londonderry, Northwood, Nottingham, Raymond, Sandown
